Hi, my name is Blake! Growing up I loved sports and really enjoyed learning how to move. I think this interest in movement coupled with how I enjoy problem solving primed me for physiotherapy.

Through my undergrad at the University of Victoria I knew the healthcare field was for me and that I wanted to help people stay active. I gained my Masters at the University of Alberta which was an outstanding learning environment. I was fortunate enough to have some amazing placements that taught me the importance of education, manual therapy, and exercise prescription in achieving patient recovery and getting them back to their functional goals.

Starting at Fort Physio, I found that they perfectly complemented my style of hands on physio and sense of collaboration. Through my three years here I am continually grateful to be surrounded by an outstanding team.

Hi my name is Kevin and I love being a part of the team here at Fort Physio! I grew up in southern Alberta and moved to Langley to pursue a Human Kinetics degree at TWU prior to completing my Masters of Physical Therapy at UBC.

A history of sports-related injuries, as well as a keen interest in problem-solving, movement science, anatomy and building relationships with people are what has made this the dream profession for me. My education and clinical experience have taught me the importance of listening to and seeking to understand my clients in order to reach their goals.

My passion is to enhance my client’s confidence in their bodies and abilities through the use of individualized exercise, education, and manual therapy.

Outside the clinic you might see me gallivanting through Walnut Grove and creatively keeping active with my wife and two daughters!

Hello, my name is Robbie. I am the owner of Fort Physio. I love engaging in hopefulness, process, authenticity & understanding. In a time where many of us are overwhelmed by life, pain is just that, a real pain. I see it as our body’s only way of communicating to us when it needs to be heard.

I love the opportunity to advocate for my clients & encourage them while leaning into the process of healing, as well as understanding the nuances of their bodies’ story.

I come alive seeing others thrive and it means that much more when I’ve had the opportunity to journey with that person to be able to see the process in getting there. Not to mention, the amazing conversations and things that I learn from every encounter along the way.

Hi, my name is Marty. Massage has been a natural extension of my passion for health and fitness that originated when I discovered weightlifting at an early age. I’m at my happiest when moving or learning and becoming an RMT has given me ample opportunity for both!

Having to adapt my physical training to compensate for injury has made me acutely aware of just how life changing pain and dysfunction can be. My goal is to pair an evidence-based approach with a keen understanding of your individual needs to get you back doing what you love. I’m excited to learn your story and how I can help you achieve your health and fitness goals.

Laurelle is a graduate of the 2200 hour program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She also completed her Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Psychology, in 2011 at Simon Fraser University. As a former elite athlete, she has always been intrigued and amazed by the body and what it is capable of doing.

Stepping into the healthcare field was a natural transition for Laurelle as she is passionate about helping others achieve their health and wellness goals. She is also driven to educate her clients on their own bodies, understanding how their bodies work, why certain dysfunctions may be occurring, and how to prevent them from recurring.

When she’s not in the clinic Laurelle enjoys baking, cooking, hot yoga, swimming, running, music, hiking, canoeing, and spending time with family & friends.
